Broken Key Removal
A key broken in a lock is a high-stress situation that requires specialized extraction tools and a steady hand to resolve. It is tempting to try and pry a fragment out with pliers or a screwdriver, but this often causes damage as forcing tools into the keyway typically results in damaging the delicate internal wafers or pins. What starts as a simple extraction can quickly turn into a costly, hardware replacement if the cylinder is damaged.
Our broken key extraction process focuses on carefully retrieving the fragments while preserving the integrity of the cylinder. We utilize precision extractors designed to hook the broken piece without putting pressure on the locking components. Once the obstruction is cleared, we can assess the lock’s condition, perform a repair, or generate a brand-new key on-site using our mobile shop. By focusing on recovery rather than replacement, we ensure your access is restored quickly and efficiently, often saving you the expense of a complete replacement.

When you need someone to unlock a house door, we prioritize advanced picking and bypassing techniques that protect both your door’s finish and the lock’s sensitive internal components. We understand that your door hardware is an investment, and our goal is to gain entry while keeping your existing locks fully functional and secure.
Professional entry is a skill that separates a locksmith from a novice. Whether you have misplaced your keys, locked them in the house, or an electronic keypad has failed, we arrive with the tools necessary to manipulate the cylinder without causing damage. By focusing on clean entry methods, we save you the added expense of a replacing the lock. Trunk Unlocks
The trunk of a car often more secure and difficult to get into than the cabin. In the past, car manufacturers would provide a mechanical lock on the trunk. To increase security, in recent years, fewer and fewer of these mechanical trunk locks are used. More common is an electronic button in the cabin. Unfortunately, if you find the keys to your car locked in the trunk, you will often find that button disabled by the security system. Opening the door will often not allow you in the trunk. Our trunk unlock service provides a fast ways to gain access to your trunk, whether through physically opening the trunk, or utilizing diagnostic equipment to open the trunk without causing damage to the vehicle’s body or locking system.

Toyota Key Fob Repaired. Make no mistake, a broken key fob can leave you stranded. This particular customer had this one break some time ago, and was able to glue it back temporarily. Kia Flip Key in Gulf Shores, AL. This customer in Gulf Shores found themselves in a situation where they had no keys for a 2024 Kia Forte. The car had been used and returned without any keys. Kia keys are very specific to the year, make, and model. I was able to narrow down the one the customer needed, get it shipped overnight and cut and program the key quickly. And, of course, as I normally do for most any Kia, an original OEM key was used. OEM keys, especially for these models, are frequently more reliable and long-lasting than their aftermarket counterparts. #gulfshores #automotive #emergency ... See MoreSee Less
FAQs
Here are answer to some of our most common questions:
I lost my key to my car/truck. A mechanic told me I can replace the steering column. I replaced the column with a good key and it still won't crank.
Modern vehicles require multiple components (not just the ignition cylinder) to match electronically. Replacing parts without matching them can prevent the car from starting. A locksmith can program a key correctly, and often it's cheaper to reinstall the original column and program a new key.
My key doesn't have a remote in it, just a plastic head, so it doesn't have a chip in it.
Not necessarily true. The remote and transponder chip are separate systems. Many plastic-head keys still contain a chip inside.
I have a push-to-start car, do I have to go to the dealer to get a new key?
No. Most push-to-start keys can be programmed by a qualified locksmith.
I replaced the computer in my Ford truck and now it's in anti-theft mode. Where I got the new BCM from tells me I have to have a locksmith program the key.
When done properly there is a bit more to it. But, yes, we can resynch the new computer and program the keys. We can do all of them, from the oldest to the newest.
